Happiness comes sometimes from nowhere, a Canadian couple, Steve Jenkinsand Derek Walter adopted a small pig called Esther, they were confident that itwas a Pygmy piglet.
Two years later their little pig weighs 300kg! But love and friendship generouslyoffered by Esther is invaluable and has completely filled with joy the life of thiscouple.
When they realized was how this animal is nice and intelligent (pigs are asintelligent as dogs), they could not bear the thought of eating it, and they havetherefore become vegetarian.
Since its adoption the couple's life has become a real joy, they were so touchedby this pig, and the love that he could bring them that they have decided todedicate their lives to the opening of a shelter for animals.
When Steve and Derek adopted Esther, she weighed only 2kg.
Two years later, this little piggy does not weigh less than 300kg!
The couple still decided to keep it.
And it was the best choice they could have done.
Esther gets along very well with his roommates.
Faced with the tenderness of this animal, the couple decided to stop eating meat.
They open an animal shelter, and devote their lives.
To start and thrive they raised € 350,000.
A beautiful story is on ...
Raising a pig is not given to everyone ...
This can be very tiring!
Esther needs a lot of affection ...
And food!
This little piggy has actually become a family member.
Esther really touched the hearts of his parents, and hopefully yours too.
